Run sequences at show time and drive live variables, timers and polls.
The Live view at a glance
The Live view is your show-time cockpit, split in two: a tabbed work surface on top — Workspaces, Live poll and Output views — with the playback transport docked at the bottom (drag the divider to resize).
Workspaces — your arranged dashboards of sequence tiles, variable cards, tables and labels (see below).
Live poll — set the active question and watch live tallies come in.
Output views — manage the studio output screens (OBS sources).
On the Workspaces tab, the button at the right of the tab bar flips between Design (arrange the layout) and Operate (drive the show). It's remembered per operator.
Workspaces
A room can have several named workspaces — tabs above the canvas — each an infinite pan-and-zoom dashboard laid out per task (say "Teams", "Chat control", "Show flow"). Double-click a tab to rename it; + adds one. Deleting a workspace removes only the arrangement — the variables and sequences on it are untouched.
Design mode — drag variables and sequences from the trays onto the canvas, add labels, and arrange freely. Trays are per workspace, so the same variable or sequence can appear on several workspaces.
Operate mode — the same layout becomes the live surface: edit values, pick table lineups, and click sequence tiles to drive playback.
Running playback
Sequences live on the workspaces as tiles — there's no separate sequence list. In Operate mode, click a tile to select it for the transport, then drive it from the bottom panel.
Click a sequence tile on the workspace — it gets a blue outline and the transport picks it up.
Use the spacebar (or the transport button) to Play, Continue past a pause marker, and Stop.
Play can stack sequences so several run at once — each tile shows its own state.
Tiles glow green while playing and yellow while paused, so the whole stage reads at a glance.
Stop all plays out any exit cues, then runs the default fallback sequence so the room never goes dark. Set the fallback with the ★ button — its tile wears the star.
Edit jumps straight into the selected sequence's timeline editor.
Playback state is shared — every operator with the Live view open sees the same stage, and any of them can drive it.
Live variables, timers and polls
The workspaces also expose the live values your sequences can display. These update the crowd instantly without re-sending a whole scene.
Variables — edit live numbers and text (each change is a tiny write, no scene re-dispatch).
Timers — create and control stopwatches and countdowns, ticking on the synced clock.
Polls — set the active question and watch live vote tallies come in.
Note
To make these appear on screen, add timer, poll or [Variable] text layers in a sequence. See Variables, timers & polls.
